Property Register for Domestic Violence Sufferers

Imagine if you could make a positive impact on women experiencing domestic and family violence in your community

The Priority Project is a new solution to help women experiencing domestic violence secure housing and avoid homelessness.

How The Priority Project would work:

  1. Women experiencing DFV, who are in need of housing, would be referred to a Partnership Broker at The Priority Project by their case manager.
  2. A Partnership Broker would match women with appropriate properties on the property register. The owners of properties on this register would have elected to prioritise rental to tenants who have experienced DFV. A woman’s needs would be considered alongside different property options.
  3. If there is a suitable property match, the woman would independently sign a lease and would be continually supported by her DV or housing service provider.

We are now seeking public opinion on this register.

We very much appreciate your time and support in completing and sharing our surveys.
